Birthday Treat Boxes

Throwing a party for the kids can be a daunting task. There are so many things that you need to do so you can properly prepare for this big day.

Thinking about what foods to serve, party favors to give away, party theme, entertainment for the kids and of course getting that special cake ready are enough to drive you up the wall.

Instead of throwing a huge party, why not give birthday treat boxes instead? These will particularly come in handy when your kids are already going to school. You can simply choose the box design and fill this with an assortment of treats.

Your children can simply give these to their classmates on their birthday and you still would have made the day special for your kids and their friends.

Birthday Treat Boxes

The first thing you need to do is to choose the boxes that you will use for the treats. Your birthday celebrator can help you pick out the boxes. You can go with one specific design and theme for all the kids or you can also choose one design for the boys and one for the girls.

There are plenty of designs to choose from. The most popular treat boxes are the ones with character prints. For girls, the designs can be any of the famous characters from Disney shows. Princesses like Snow White, Cinderella and Belle are perfect for girls.

Cars characters, Toy Story characters particularly Woody and Buzz are excellent for boys.

There are also Dr. Seuss treat boxes, Star Wars-inspired boxes, Thomas the Train, Sponge Bob and a whole slew of others readily available in the market today.

You can also go with simple designs like flower prints for the girls and firemen designs for boys; or simple solid colors like blue for the boys and pink for the girls.

Treats in the Box

Now that you have your treat box, the next thing you need to consider is what to put inside the box. You can put kids’ favorite treats like candies and chocolates, cookies and even small toys.

You can pick out small toys for girls and another one for boys. If you wish to put the same favors for all kids, you can simply go with a small box of crayons to go with the other treats that you have placed in the boxes.

Your kids can also help you choose what treats to put in the treat boxes since they know more what their friends would love to get.
